Ekphrasis and the Internet: The William Blake Project, English 416, The Romantic Period
Clemson University (South Carolina), Art Young

For this project, my students studying British Romantic Poetry examined William Blake's plates of "Songs of Innocence and Experience" on the Web. They then engaged in an email discussion about the visual and verbal of Blake's art. They also wrote and illustrated poems in the manner of Blake's ironic vision in "Songs of Innocence." "Little Princess" was composed by Sharlie Ivester and "Daddy's Little Girl" Amanda Elliott.
