Once Upon a Time
One time a caveman got bored,
carved rock with the tools he adored
The rock started to spin,
the wheel age would begin,
And now people are driving in Fords
Some thought that books were a stress,
(like those people whose money was less)
But those books became cheap
And now are bought by the heap
due to Gutenberg’s printing press
There once were two brothers Wright,
who went to the Kitty Hawk site
Some thought them insane
But one flew in a plane
Now Paris is just a quick flight
And then came the great telephone
-- a link from China to Rome –
Computers, TV’s:
“Communication with ease”
(And you don’t even have to leave home)
